1. Can you ship to my country? How about the import and customs? 

Rest assured, we do ship globally! We have successfully shipped to over 16 countries across the world.We can provide door-to-door delivery & take care of all the necessary stuff like tax, customs clearance, and also insurance of the goods until it reaches your destination. We can support both sea and air shipping, depending on the urgency of the order.

2. Can I customize the photobooth to my brand? 

Absolutely! Customization is a key feature of our photo booths. Here’s how you can personalize your machine:

  • Hardware Design: from the hardware finishing to matte print design, you can customize it fully 

  • User Interface (UI): Fully customize every screen page to match your brand, with no Chalkak Studio branding.

  • Photo Frames: Include up to 24 designs per frame type (up to 120 designs total across all frame types). You can integrate these designs into the system upon purchase at no extra cost.

 

3. How does the payment system work? 

Photobooth users have 3 options for the payment: 

 

Cash payment

Our bill acceptor can be configured to the currency and denomination of your needs.

 

Voucher payment

You can generate free/discount vouchers for your customers. This is perfect for events! 

 

Digital payment

Our photo booths are compatible with the NAYAX VPOS digital payment terminal, allowing payments via:

  • Credit and debit cards (swipe, EMV, and contactless).

  • Mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.).

  • QR codes.

NAYAX is available in most regions globally. Let us know your location, and we’ll confirm its compatibility.

 

4. What is the manufacturing time for the photo booth, and how do I confirm my order?

Manufacturing takes 5-20 days (depending on the customization requirements) 

To confirm your order, we’ll need:

  • Electrical specifications (e.g., plug type, voltage).

  • Finalized order details (number of machines, payment terminals, consumables, etc.).

Once confirmed, we’ll send you an invoice.

 

5. What type of maintenance and support is provided with the photo booth & how about Warranty?

If there’s an issue, we provide:

  • Customer/technical/maintenance support via email or phone

  • 1-year hardware warranty: Covers any inherent issues with the machine.

  • User manual: For machine setup and basic troubleshooting.

 

6. Can the machine operate unmanned? What are the setup requirements?

While the photo booth can function independently, please note that regular maintenance does need to be done (e.g. replacement of paper and ink ribbon), dusting off the screen. We will provide the guide for that as well. 

 

We recommend having someone nearby for basic troubleshooting (e.g., paper jams or internet issues). Key setup requirements include:

  • A stable wired internet connection.

  • Proper positioning with sufficient lighting and space.

  • Regular maintenance, similar to a computer!

 

7. How to set-up the machine, is it difficult? What technical support or training is provided?

We provide training materials, including a user manual, to help you set up and maintain the machine. Besides, the set-up process of our machine is pretty straight forward! Connect some wires, plugs, and practically done. Additionally each of our machines come with the Machine Management Software that enables you to do remote monitoring and control, such as:

  • Restarting the machine.

  • Adjusting pricing and timing settings.

  • Tracking consumables and machine status.

 

8. What software features are included in the “management software” that comes with your machine?

The included Machine Management Software provides:

  • Access to transaction logs and saved images.

  • Real-time tracking of consumables (paper and ink).

  • Flexible pricing and timing adjustments.

  • Machine controls (restart, power on/off).

  • Fault indicators and status monitoring.

  • Key business statistics like revenue and transaction totals.

  • User access controls for added security.
